Business Etiquette Around the World: Western Europe

When expanding your company’s global presence, there are a number of customs and practices to take into account.  At times Western Europe can seem deceptively similar to cultures of the states, but there are key differences that, if you’re not careful, could make or break a business deal without you even knowing it.  

For example, while American businesses usually expect their partners to speak English to the best of their ability, in France, if you can’t speak the dialect eloquently, it’s more polite to not even try.
